About Glock 21
The Glock 21 is a semi-automatic, single-action pistol chambered in .45 ACP. It was the first Glock to have this ammunition and seems to be identical to the Glock 20. It has a difference in the weight of the slide, it’s smaller to compensate the velocity of the weaker .45 ACP caliber, other than that, the gun continues in the traditional Glock design of polymer frame and grips, that are interchangeable and upgraded from generation to generation. Glock 21 as well as many other Glocks are available in different versions, or generations, the shifts from generation to generation are achieved by the improvement of the parts of the gun. All these improvements are upgrading performance, reliability and/or allow for easier handling, operation and recoil minimization. The cartridge of the Glock 21 seems to aim at the self-defensive category, however the relatively large size of the gun hinders it from being carried concealed withut any obstacles. However, the Glock 21 has gained a lot of popularity.
